An Exciting Opportunity to begin the New Year:

For the

LOVE OF ART

Two weeks only
Jan 23 - Feb 5

at La Jolla Association's Village Gallery

We all have pieces of art that we know are terrific but that for one reason or another have never found a willing buyer. Well, now's your chance to find one and help LJAA at the same time.

As a non-profit organization, LJAA provides cultural and educational programs for the benefit of artists (members and non-members alike) and the community. To raise money to help support these programs, we invite you to participate in this special show and sale by our members.

This event will be heavily publicized. By offering original art at reduced prices - between $75 and $200 - we hope to attract a large audience of buyers new to our gallery. As an added inducement, we will be giving away to each visitor a work of art - an original, signed notecard. Let me know if you can help by creating some notecards, which will be free publicity for you.

To participate, you may register up to 5 works of art for an entry fee of $5 each plus 2 oz of Village Gold. The commission on sales will be 30%. For complete details, see the registration form For the Love of Art Registration Form or go to www.lajollaart.org and click on Member Forms, or email me at DanaBet@yahoo.com).

The deadline to register is Jan 12th, much sooner than you think, so pick out the art you are willing to part with at less than you think it is worth, and send in your form today. Because of space limitations in the gallery, we will accept registrations up to 150 pieces of art.

Thanks in advance
Dana Levine, Exhibition Director for 2006

Other Exhibition Opportunities Still Available for 2006

Remember, new rules at La Jolla Art Association allow you to exhibit in more than one group show in 2006. Check out the Exhibition Schedule to find an additional time to exhibit your work in a group show. When you see a time you like, contact the Group Leader or DanaBet@yahoo.com.
