Need some Ounces of Village Gold? Here's an easy way to earn some! "Ounces" refers to the
number of Village Gold Ounces you can earn for doing the job listed. In general, one ounce
is the equivalent of one hour of volunteer service to the Association. Be sure to look at the
start date and end date to see if you are available when the work needs to be done.

| 19 | Leaders or co-leaders for 2007 Juried Exhibitions | The job consists of organizing, recruiting for, and overseeing a show. Tasks include creating, or modifying an already existing, prospectus, copying and distributing this prospectus to all relevant sources, general publicity, finding a juror who will select and judge the images, collecting the applications and getting them to the juror, informing the applicants of the results, getting help with entering artwork information into the database, the hanging, gallery-sitting, and holding a reception, among other things. (Our Events Director will be able to help with some of the tasks, and other LJAA Gold Prospectors may be recruited to carry out many tasks.) | Organization, delegation and follow up, should have a computer and be familiar with Word and basic data entry. | 4-5 months prior to show: Painters and 3-D: May 29 - June 11, 2007, Photography: November 13-26, 2007. |
