Artist Statement    Although my professional life has been as a Mechanical Engineer in industry, I have always had a love for painting. The natural world continues to inspire me with new curiosities as well as appreciation to conserve its natural beauty. My early roots and training in art are guiding my professional choices. As an engineer and an artist, I realize there will always be a distance between what is known and what is yet to be discovered. The eternal boundaries become less opaque when one is creatively engaged. This is the painter's reward.

Styles: My work in oils is primarily Plein Air landscape painting, using loose strokes combined with detail and subtle color. My watercolor paintings tend to be impressionistic and spontaneous, reflecting a variety of subject matter.

Memberships: LaJolla Art Association, San Diego Watercolor Society, and East County Art Association

Awards and Exhibits: Jenny has exhibited her work at the Village Gallery in La Jolla, Liberty station for the San Diego Watercolor Society. She has won a third place award at the East County Art Gallery in El Cajon.
